Hearing aids are the primary tools that an individual use, especially those individuals that has a problem on hearing. Some of us may already know the function of this device, and what it is for, but how a hearing aid does really work.

As we all know a hearing aid is a device which is an electro – acoustic body worn apparatus which is typically fitted in or behind an individual ear, and its main design is to amplify and modulate sound for the individual who is having a hearing problem. This is the main and basic function of this device.

And this is how the hearing aid works, the hearing aid picks up and incoming sound from any source it may either be from a radio, TV or from another person. This is done through a microphone that picks up the sound waves produced by a source.

And the hearing aid has a circuit the has a microphone that processes and changes the sound waves into an electrical signal and modifies or translate it based upon the computers data installed in the hearing aid. These circuits are manipulated by a sophisticated software.

This software then detect feedback and virtually eliminate it for better hearing quality,  it reduces harsh effects of loud sounds like noises and other factors that may affect the hearing of the person and also it reduces almost all background noise hindering speech perception which makes it even more clearer for the user to hear and understand what it is listening to.
