For those of you that wear a hearing aid, there can be a problem dealing with phones. An option is to shop for a cell phone does not interfere with your hearing aid, this can be very time consuming as different phones have different ratings, as to how they will work with your hearing aid.
Thanks to technology, the new product works in unison with both your digital hearing aid and your cell phone. It’s surprising that a product like this has not existed before, which makes a lot of sense, is they moved the microphone from the cell phone to the digital hearing aid. Voice is picked up by the microphone in the hearing aid and then transmitted back through the cell phone, using this process, designers have been able to completely eliminate the dreaded buzzing feedback that typically happens when using them at the same time.
Wondering if you can afford such a helpful device, the initial cost of the cell phone hearing aids is about $300 dollars, a fair price, but users should be on the look out for the prices to come down even further as other companies put similar products. This cell phone hearing aids are not perfect though, it does have some compatibility issues. The main problem right now is that the technology will only work with the type of hearing aids that are worn behind the ear, if you have a hearing aid that fits in the inside of your ear then you are out of luck for the time being.
