A hearing aid is a gadget or device used or helps people with hearing disability to hear well it is also known as an electro – acoustic body worn apparatus, in which it is typically fitted in or behind the person with hearing disability’s ear, and it is primarily designed to amplify and modulate sound for the person with hearing disability.

There are actually 2 types of hearing aid that allows people with hearing disability to hear clearly, this two types of hearing aid is called the Digital Hearing Aid and Analog Hearing Aid both are actually he same in a sense that they help people with hearing disability to hear clearly but they are differentiated by how they work according to their system and technology used.

An Analog hearing aid or an adjustable control hearing aid incorporates the use of an audio circuit fitted with electronic components on the person’s ears. These analog components are pre-programmed according to the otolaryngologist specifications. The analog’s components are either changed or adjusted with small external control or via a variant built into the hearing aids design.

And the Digital hearing aid is more advance when it comes to technology and it is also referred to as an audio or a programmable hearing aid. In these devices, both the audio and additional control circuits are completely digitized which makes it more advance. The digital hearing aid is externally programmed on a computer connected to the hearing device. In which it creates an advantage of technology over the later.
