Out of the five senses we have, the hearing capacity is the one which makes us admire all that surrounds us, such as the chirping of birds, the laugh of our children, the sound of the sea waves at the shores, the sound of water falling down the waterfall.
The range of hearing for an adult ranges between 20Hz to 20,000Hz. Just like other things, hearing capacity also changes with age causing what is called deafness or loss of hearing capacity. When the bell flexes away, it pulls in on the surrounding air particles creating a drop in pressure, which pulls in more surrounding air particles, creating another drop in pressure, which pulls in particles even farther out. This pressure decrease is called rarefaction, a vibrating object sends a wave of pressure fluctuation through the atmosphere and that is the sound we hear.
