Aging is a process of life most of us must go through. Although not many may go through this process due to some unforeseen circumstances, some may call it a twist of fate but others prefer the terms diseases, accidents, and death. But those who are blessed enough to experience life in the old age may encounter some difficulties brought about by the process of aging. When we age some of our sense weakens. We cannot see better, our sense of taste and smell weakens, and most of all we suffer hearing loss. Hearing loss or deafness is a full or partial decrease in the ability to detect or understand sounds. There are three major types of hearing loss which are neural/sensor neural, conductive, or a combination of both. It may be caused by biological and environmental factors.
